JUI-F’s central intra-party elections to be held today in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) will hold the second phase of its intra-party elections today in Peshawar, according to a statement by the party’s spokesperson.

The election, scheduled to take place at 10 AM at Kabutar Chowk on Ring Road, will see the participation of 1,500 members from the party’s general council.

JUI-F elects new Provincial Emir, General Secretary

The elections will determine the party’s central Emir and General Secretary for the next five years. The election process will be monitored by Maulana Atta-ul-Haq Darwish, who will be assisted by his team to ensure transparency.

Members from across Pakistan, including Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and tribal districts, have gathered in Peshawar to cast their votes.

The spokesperson added that elections for JUI-F chapters in the provincial and regional areas have already been completed, paving the way for today’s central leadership elections.

JUI-F intra-party elections underway in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Earlier, on September 22, JUI-F conducted its provincial elections, in which Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman was elected unopposed as the Provincial Emir, while Maulana Atta-ul-Haq won the elections for the position of Provincial General Secretary.
