Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor invites CM for lunch, reiterates openness to dialogue

PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has extended an invitation to Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for lunch. The governor also expressed his intention to personally visit the leaders of every political party, reiterating his openness to dialogue and cooperation.

Governor Kundi said, “I invite Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for lunch,” adding that if the chief minister would invite him, he will go himself.
Addressing the challenges faced by the province, Kundi said, “Our people have already seen many difficulties.” He affirmed his efforts to secure more funds for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, acknowledging that many issues remain unresolved.
He spoke on the importance of maintaining civility in political discourse, stating, “We will not go to the lowest level in the war of words.” He noted the possibility of Maulana Fazlur Rehman seeking collaboration, citing Maulana’s claim that his mandate was robbed.

Kundi suggested that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa adopt successful practices from other provinces and highlighted that only Sindh has prepared regarding UN funds. He urged political figures to refrain from exploiting sensitive issues, stating, “There are other arenas for engaging in contentious politics.”
Kundi repeated in his statement, “My doors are open to everyone,” and assured that there will be no conspiracies at the Governor House.
