Late night police raid, Marwat goes into hiding to evade arrest

According to a post shared on X, formerly Twitter, by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat, the police raided his house late night yesterday and seized essential items including a laptop.

He wrote that he managed to get out before the raid, and now he is in a safe place.

He wrote, “ATTENTION!! I urgently announce that I will not take any responsibility for any controversial posts/anti-religion posts from any of social media platforms, under my official or unofficial details or social media accounts!!”

He added, “Yesterday, the CTD Police and agencies raided my house and broke the doors causing damages, they stressed out my family and staff and confiscated my Laptop. I managed to run away from my home and now I am at a safe place! This is an illegal raid and I will challenge the IG and SSP operation Islamabad in the court for this criminal act; the confiscation of my laptop is illegitimate – it contains my private and professional data, subjected to misuse!”
