May 9: Imran Khan granted bail in four cases

LAHORE: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore granted bail to founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan in four cases of arson and destruction. The decision comes during hearing of GHQ attack case hearing.
ATC Judge Arshad Javed heard the bail pleas against the former premier in four cases of the May 9 arson and destruction cases.
The court, while talking to Imran Khan’s counsel Barrister Salman Safdar, said that you have already given your arguments, repeated arguments will waste time, now the bail applications should be decided.
Later, the court gave a verdict on the petitions of Imran Khan, and accepted his bail in four cases, including the burning of the office of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), in exchange for a bail bond of Rs 550,000.
