PM hosts breakfast for newly inducted cabinet members

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday hosted breakfast for the newly inducted members of the federal cabinet.

During the breakfast meeting, matters related to the country’s economic situation and political affairs were discussed.

PM congratulated the members on their new roles and said that the selection of ministers was based on their ability and capabilities

Expressing satisfaction over the substantial reduction in inflation, a rise in foreign exchange reserves, and an increase in foreign remittances, PM pledged to continue efforts to further improve the macroeconomic indicator in the years to come.

“We are all accountable to Allah Almighty and the people of Pakistan,” he said adding that he will undertake regular monitoring of the performance of all federal ministers and other members of the federal cabinet.

He also appreciated the services of all the cabinet members as the public representatives.

Cabinet expansion: 13 ministers and 11 ministers of state sworn in

The cabinet members reaffirmed their commitment to play an active role in the country’s development and the public welfare.

They also lauded the prime minister’s efforts for recent economic development in the country.

On Thursday, 13 federal ministers and 11 ministers of state and three advisers were inducted into the federal cabinet bringing the total strength of the federal cabinet to 46.

The newly sworn-in federal ministers include Hanif Abbasi, Moeen Watto, Mustafa Kamal, Sardar Yousuf, Ali Pervaiz, Shaza Fatima, Junaid Anwar, Khalid Magsi, Pir Imran Shah, Aurangzeb Katchi, Rana Mubashir, and Raza Hayat Hiraj.

The ministers of state sworn in were Malik Rasheed, Armaghan Subhani, Talal Chaudhry, Kheal Das, Rehman Kanju, Bilal Kayani, Mukhtar Bharat, Shizra Mansab, Anwar Chaudhry, and Wajiha Qamar.

Additionally, Prime Minister’s advisers Tauqeer Shah, Pervez Khattak, and Muhammad Ali also took the oath.
