Possible reshuffle in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet: three ministers at risk

PESHAWAR: There is a possibility of a reshuffle in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet, with three ministers potentially at the risk of losing their portfolio.

The Provincial Assembly members voiced their complaints to Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur during a recent parliamentary party meeting, according to sources from the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC).

Members of the assembly accused the cabinet members of not answering phone calls and being unavailable for meetings, making it difficult to address concerns of the constituents. The assembly members demanded accountability, stating that the “Qibla of the cabinet members needs to be corrected.”

Sources indicate that most complaints were directed at the provincial health minister and the food minister. The Minister for Irrigation and the Minister for Forests also faced criticism.

Chief Minister Ali Amin assured participants that he would present the performance of the cabinet members in a meeting with the party leader and that any decisions regarding the cabinet would be made after consultation.
