ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday termed the emergence of a diary being allegedly linked to former first lady Bushra Bibi a ‘propaganda’ unleashed by opponents to target the party chairman.
In a statement, PTI leader and former state minister for information Farrukh Habib said, “no diary was seized by the police during arrest of the PTI from his Zaman Park residence on August 5.”
He said that the PTI legal team also never reported the diary among the missing items.
Urging media to avoid projecting planted propaganda, he said, “Bushra Bibi is a housewife who never participates in any political activity.”

PTI lawyer Naeem Panjutha also raised questions about the alleged diary being attributed to Bushra Bibi.
“No diary has been reported missing by the [PTI] legal team or by Zaman Park, so where did this diary come from. We are getting the details and will take legal action against all those responsible,” he said on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
Panjutha said that the PTI will also take legal action against those propagating the fake story.
