In April 2022, the President unconstitutionally dissolved the National Assembly and has been involved in various illegal activities, including not providing the election date, the petition states.

The stance presented in the petition asserts that President Arif Alvi has failed to fulfill his constitutional responsibilities and hence is not fit to serve as the President of Pakistan.
