Sher Afzal Marwat lashes out at Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat unleashed a fiery onslaught against former PTI member Fawad Chaudhry. Speaking to media on Wednesday, Marwat said, “I am not in favour of Fawad Chaudhry coming back to PTI”.

Marwat said that Fawad made fun of the PTI leadership, and when it was time to stay steadfast with the PTI, “[Fawad] ran away like a coward”.

Sher Afzal Marwat mentioned the event hosted by Jehangir Tareen to launch Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), adding “You would remember Fawad’s face when he went to Jehangir Tareen’s party. He was trying to hide his face. That was the time to stand with PTI.”

Answering a question on Fawad Chaudhry’s brother, Advocate Faisal Chaudhry, Marwat said that he was a good lawyer but Fawad was getting in his way of joining PTI. “I belive that Fawad is becoming a hurdle in [Faisal’s] path. He’s doing everything he can to make sure that Faisal doesn’t become part of PTI,” Marwat said.
