SSGC begins Ramazan Ration Drive on the directives of Ministry of Energy

KARACHI: SSGC’s Ramzaan Ration Drive kicked off on Wednesday with its first leg in Uthal, district Lasbela, Balochistan in which 500 ration boxes were provided to the lesser privileged ones, listed in the registered database of a vibrant not-for-profit organization Lasbela Welfare Trust (LWT) lead by Mr. Ramzaan Jamot.

SSGC’s Zonal Manager Hub, Mr. Shoaib Hameed travelled all the way from Hub to Uthal to represent the organization and distributed these ration boxes in a simple yet impressive ceremony held at SMC Park, that was organized by LWT.

This ration drive (total 2,000 boxes) is being executed under SSGC’s CSR program by Corporate Communication Department in adherence to the directives of Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan, that is committed to support the poor segment of our society who finds it extremely hard to make ends meet in these challenging times.

This distribution in Uthal was the first of the three ceremonies, with the remaining two (1,500 boxes) to be held by another not-for-profit organization, Jam Mohammad Foundation (JMF) to be held in Balochistan cities of Bela and Avaraan before Eid-ul-Fitr.
