Caitlin Clark broke the Women’s National Basketball Association’s (WNBA) single-game assists record, cementing her status as the frontrunner for the “Rookie of the Year” award.
The “Indiana Fever” rookie guard recorded over 19 assists, surpassing the previous record of 18 assists set by Courtney Vandersloot in 2020. Despite her team’s 101-93 loss, Clark’s performance showcased her exceptional court prowess, passing ability, and overall impact on the game.

Clark’s record-breaking feat is just the latest in a string of accomplishments since the former National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) leading scorer was drafted by the Indiana Fever.
