Qazi Jawad Ahmed said that the delegation will be given a briefing regarding the preparations being made and will remain in the country for three days. The director stated that 45% of the overall work being conducted at the stadium has been completed. The main building of the pavilion is near completion, thanks to hundreds of workers who are working multiple shifts throughout the day.

Previously, the director had said that “Around-the-clock efforts on redesign and renovations have PCB confident of meeting the 31 December deadline.”

Some of the renovations include high resolution replay screens, modern floodlight towers, and improved seats. The capacity of Gaddafi Stadium is also set to increase from 21,500 to 34,000.
