ICC rankings: All updates to Pakistani batters

WEB DESK: Here all the changes in the International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings for Pakistani batters after the men in green suffered a whitewash at the hands of South Africa in their latest two-match test series.
Babar Azam
Babar Azam gained the most places for Pakistan, rising five places from 17th to 12th. After a disappointing first innings in the first test against South Africa, Babar went on to score three half centuries in his next three innings. His high score came in Pakistan’s final innings of the series, when he scored 81 runs. Together with Shan Masood, who scored 145 runs, Babar set the record for the highest opening stand after following on. He currently has a rating of 697. Babar remains in the top spot among ODI batters with a rating of 795, and in the sixth spot in the T20I rankings with a rating of 712.
Saud Shakeel
Right above Babar is Saud Shakeel occupying the 11th spot after he dropped five places. After a disappointing first innings in the first test, in which he scored 14, he scored 84 in the second. However, there wouldn’t be a silver lining in the second test, as he was dismissed for a duck in the first innings, and only scored 23 in the second.
Mohammad Rizwan
Mohammad Rizwan is ranked 19th among test batters after gaining two places with a rating of 650. He scored a total of 30 runs in the first test, and 87 in the second. The white ball skipper dropped one place in the ODI batter rankings and is now 22nd with a rating of 612. He remains at ninth in the T20I rankings with a rating of 704.

Salman Agha
Salman Agha is ranked 22nd among test batters after gaining one place with a rating of 636. After a few terrible performances in the first three innings he played, scoring 18, one, and 19, Salman finally had a decent knock in the final innings of the series, falling just two runs short of a half century. He is ranked 80th in the ODI rankings with a rating of 468.
Shan Masood
Test skipper Shan Masood gained 12 places and is now ranked 45th with a rating of 550. After a series of disappointing knocks in the first three innings in the series, in which he scored 17, 28, and two, Masood got his act together in the final innings. He made the second highest score of the series with 145 runs.
Kamran Ghulam
Kamran Ghulam dropped eight places and is now ranked 87th with a rating of 390. He managed to score a half century in the first innings of the series against South Africa, but struggled to find his rhythm again, scoring four, 12, and 28 runs in the next three innings.
Aamer Jamal
Aamer Jamal dropped three places and is now ranked 92nd among test batters with a rating of 359. He scored a total of 46 runs in the first test and a total of 49 in the second.
Saim Ayub
Saim Ayub is tied with Aamer at 92nd after dropping five places, and thus shares the same rating. Saim struggled in the first test, only scoring 14 runs in the first innings and 27 in the second. He then suffered an injury that kept him from playing in the second contest. Saim remains in the 23rd place among ODI batters with a rating of 603 and in the 57th spot in the T20I rankings with a rating of 483.
Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafique
Both Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafique dropped in the rankings, with the former now ranked 49th after losing five places, and the latter ranked 53rd after losing two. Imam is tied for 20th in the ODI batter rankings, while Abdullah is 98th. Sarfaraz Ahmed is ranked 75th in tests after losing one place.
