Anmol mahmood, Imam-ul-haq wedding celebrations begin in Norway, grand events await in Lahore

WEB DESK: The wedding festivities for 27-year-old Pakistani cricketer, Imam-ul-Haq and Anmol Mahmood kicked off in Norway with the mehndi event on Tuesday.
The national player is all set to marry Anmol Mahmood this weekend following his return from the World Cup 2023 campaign in India.
Imam, part of the national squad in the recent ICC event, shared glimpses of the mehndi ceremony featuring Anmol adorned in a luxurious bridal outfit from a local brand.

Meanwhile, Anmol shared pictures and videos from the picturesque Scandinavian location on her official Instagram account. The designer also posted a few images of the bride on their Instagram page with the caption “Imam ki Anmol” (Imam’s Anmol), tagging both the cricketer and his future wife.
Following the mehndi in Norway, the official wedding events are scheduled to take place in Lahore on November 23. The nikah ceremony is set for Saturday (November 25), followed by the valima reception on November 26.
Reports suggest that the Imam-ul-Haq wedding celebrations will kick off with a qawwali night on November 23, although the performing group’s name remains a secret.
Cricketing stars, including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, and others from the national team, are anticipated to attend the joyous occasion. Invitations will also be extended to former players and management personnel.
Imam is expected to join the Test tour camp for Australia later, as he initially opts out. The camp is scheduled to run until November 28 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, with the team set to fly out from Lahore on November 30.
