BULAWAYO: Namibia XI defeated Zimbabwe in the last clash of their three-match T20I series that took place here tonight. Zimbabwe led the series following two consecutive victories that they ensured over Namibia.
The touring team elected to bat first after winning the toss, posting a seven-wicket competitive 205-run target in their first innings. Therefore, Zimbabwe were helpless to white wash their rivals as they were couldn’t manage show some resistance through the clash.
Namibian players unleashed whirlwind batting throughout their innings. Top batter Frylinck was on fire from the very beginning, smashing his 50 off only 13 balls. Middle order Ruben’s ever impressive part spotted 46 off 24 balls that significantly lifted up the team’s total. Alexander finished the innings in style, imparting an unbeaten 20 off 11 balls, including a big hit.

ZIM win of second clash
Zimbabwe chased down a competitive 170 with five wickets and 11 balls to spare to clinch the second ZIM vs NAM T20I at Queens Sports Club on Tuesday, taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
In the opening T20, Zimbabwe produced a dominant all-round display to defeat Namibia by 33 runs, taking a 1-0 lead in the series.

In the second clash, Tadiwanashe Marumani led the way with a composed 36-ball 50, hitting two fours and three sixes to keep Zimbabwe ahead of the required rate.
Brian Bennett gave the hosts a blistering start, smashing 40 off just 20 balls at a strike rate of 200.
After the top order set the platform, Ryan Burl’s unbeaten 24 off 13 balls and Tashinga Musekiwa’s cameo (9* off 4) saw Zimbabwe over the line with ease.
