RAWALPINDI: Noman Ali and Sajid Khan continued their incredible bowling in England’s second innings on Friday, dismissing three batsmen before stumps. England trail by 53 in the final test against Pakistan.
After both Noman and Sajid nearly scored half centuries in Pakistan’s first innings, providing some much-needed runs near the end, they continued their incredible play by dismissing thee England batsmen immediately.
Ben Duckett was the first to be dismissed for England, being sent off on the 15th ball he faced after only making 12 runs. Sajid Khan found Duckett’s back pad on a slower delivery. England reviewed, but ball tracking showed that the middle stump would have fallen.
Pakistan all out for 344, lead by 77 in decider against England
Zac Crawley was sent off next on the 12th ball he faced after only scoring two runs. Noman’s delivery struck Crawley on the pads. England reviewed once again, and to their dismay, ball tracking showed that the delivery would have hit leg stump flush.
Ollie Pope would continue his disastrous performance in the test series against Pakistan after being dismissed in the eight over after only making a single run. On the 15th ball he faced, the delivery clipped the shoulder of his bat, before being caught by Agha Salman.
England made 24 runs and lost three wickets in the final session on day two of the third test against Pakistan. They trail by 53 runs.
