TAROUBA: Pakistan has decided to field first after winning the toss for the final One-Day International clash of the series against West Indies at Brian Lara Academy in Tarouba.

Pakistan has rested fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, bringing in seasoned pacer Naseem Shah for the final match of the series today.

The national team, captained by Mohammad Rizwan, includes experienced players Abdullah Shafique, Saim Ayub, Babar Azam, and vice captain Salman Ali Agha.

The bowling side of the Rizwan-led team comprised Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Mohammad Nawaz, Hassan Ali and Ibrar Ahmad.

Second ODI

Jayden Seales’ fast bowling and Roston Chase’s steady batting helped West Indies beat Pakistan by five wickets in the second one-day international (ODI) on Tuesday.

The win helped The Windies level the two-match ODI series 1-1.

Highest ODI wicket-taker in minimum clashes

Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has become the world’s leading wicket-taker, claiming 132 wickets in just 65 international matches. Previously, Afghanistani spinner Rashid Khan held this record for downing 128/65.

Afridi made this record after claiming 4 wickets in the opening clash of the ODI series that Pakistan won against the West Indies.
