Pakistan national blind cricket team meets President Arif Alvi

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Blind Cricket Team met with President Arif Alvi at Presidential Palace in Islamabad on Monday.

The meeting of the blind cricket team with the country’s president was shared in a post on the social media platform X by the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC).

The team was praised by the president for “bringing fame to Pakistan” through their exceptional performances and inspiring others with their dedication and skill.

The president praised the team members for their contributions to the sport and for representing Pakistan at the international level.

He said that the efforts of the blind cricketers should be acknowledged and appreciated. He commended the players for helping promote blind cricket in the country.

President Arif Alvi also acknowledged the efforts of the PBCC for its active role in organising tournaments and supporting the development of cricket for the visually impaired in Pakistan.

During the meeting, the team management shared insights into the team’s recent performance and achievements. The president encouraged continued support for the blind cricket team stating that the successes of the blind cricket team needs to be celebrated. This will also help raise awareness about their accomplishments.
