PM Shehbaz awards Rs2.5 million to javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has honoured Pakistan’s exceptional javelin thrower, Arshad Nadeem, with a reward of Rs2.5 million for his remarkable achievement of securing a silver medal in the 2023 World Athletics Championship.

On Tuesday, at the Prime Minister’s House, Sharif met with Nadeem and commended the javelin thrower for his accomplishments.

“You have done extremely well for Pakistan on the international level and we are proud of you,” said the PM.

The meeting was attended by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister of State for IT and Telecom Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Romeena Khurshid Alam MNA, and Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, a Punjab Assembly member.
