PSL 2025: Stadium in Peshawar being prepared with Rs 1.94b budget

PESHAWAR: The preparation of Peshawar’s Arbab Niaz Stadium for Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches is underway, with significant funding allocated in the annual development programme.

According to the programme document, Rs 700 million has been allocated in the budget for the completion of the stadium.
The document also specifies that Rs 450 million is earmarked for flood lights and Rs 300 million for civil works. In total, more than Rs 1.94 billion has been approved for the stadium. Documents further show that Rs 1.4 billion has already been spent.
Looking ahead, the budget for the next financial year includes Rs 300 million for ongoing civil works.

Additionally, a new project worth Rs 700 million has been approved for the installation of flood lights, which is part of the development programme. Rs 450 million has been specifically allocated for installation of floodlights.
