Registration process of foreign players for PSL 10 completed

LAHORE: The registration process for foreign players in the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 10) has concluded, with New Zealand’s Finn Allen and Australia’s Riley Meredith among the last to register.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to announce the names of the retained players from all franchises today.

Scheduled to take place in April and May this year, PSL 10 will be adjusted to accommodate the PCB’s role as co-host of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
The Champion Trophy is scheduled to commence from February till March this year.
The PSL 2025 daft is scheduled for January 11 in Gwadar, Balochistan, marking the first time the drafing process will occur in the port city.
A total of 33 foreign players have registered for selection in the draft, with New Zealand’s all-rounder, Michael Bracewell, being the latest addition.

Michael Bracewell is the seventh Black Hat and the 33rd overall foreign player to officially register for PSL 10.
Franchises in PSL 10 include Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators. The six will compete to secure top picks for the season.
The full list of registered foreign players include high-profile names such as Alex Carey (Australia), Alex Hales (England), Akeal Hosein (West Indies), Adam Milne (New Zealand), Charith Asalanka (Sri Lanka), Chris Lynn (Australia), Colin Munro (New Zealand), among others.
The PSL 2025 season will coincide with the Indian Premiere League (IPL).

The PCB opened registration for foreign players in December, allowing them to enter the drafting process.
