WEB DESK: In a high-stakes World Cup encounter at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, national team fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf etched their names in Pakistan’s cricket history books.

Afridi and Rauf became the most expensive ones for Pakistan in World Cup history during the ongoing match against New Zealand.

With half their bowling injured, why won’t you bat first on a wicket like this to do what they’re doing to you now?” Shoaib Akhtar said in a post on X.
