INDIA: The Pakistan Cricket team was greeted with a warm and spirited reception upon their arrival in India for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023.

Indian cricket enthusiasts flocked to the airport, eagerly chanting the names of their favorite Green Shirts players, with a particular focus on their skipper, Babar Azam.

Videos shared widely on social media platforms depict the jubilant Indian cricket fans passionately rallying behind their heroes, shouting “Babar Bhai” and “Shaheen Afridi” in a bid to catch the attention of the Pakistani cricket stars.

In response to the heartwarming welcome, Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, was seen with a smile on his face as he acknowledged the enthusiastic crowd’s warm reception.

It is worth noting that the Pakistani national team arrived in India via Dubai earlier in the day. The contingent, consisting of 18 players and 13 support personnel, was accompanied by a security convoy comprising more than 20 vehicles during their transfer to the team’s hotel.

The coaching staff, including Bowling Coach Morne Morkel and Men’s Cricket Team Director Mickey Arthur, are set to join the team in Dubai and India, respectively.

The team is scheduled to engage in a training session the following day and is gearing up for their first warm-up match against New Zealand, slated for September 29. Their final warm-up fixture will be against Australia on October 3, a mere three days before they kick off their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign against the Netherlands on October 6 at the same venue.
