Meanwhile Zverev, towering at 6 feet 6 inches, is making his fourth appearance in the French Open semifinals.

Their head-to-head record stands at two wins each. Ruud won their most recent meeting on Court Philippe Chatrier last year.

Zverev is currently facing allegations of domestic violence but remains focused on tennis. He aims to reach his first French Open final.

The German won his recent match against Alex de Minaur. Despite losing to Ruud in their last encounter, Zverev is “fully fit and ready” to compete.

Zverev’s proficiency on clay courts is attributed to his upbringing on the surface. He aims to capitalise on his form and height advantage against Ruud.

Both players are poised to advance in their quest for a maiden French Open title.
