Local holiday announced in RYK for urs of Khawaja Ghulam Farid

The Deputy Commissioner office announced the holiday and said that, all govt and semi-govt offices will remain closed on that day.

A contingent of 81 Pakistani pilgrims arrived in India to partake in the 756th annual Urs of Alauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir, a Sufi saint from the 13th century.
