Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra now Rs35,000 cheaper in Pakistan

Samsung S24 Ultra price in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Samsung Pakistan has quietly dropped the price of its flagship phone, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Previously priced at Rs435,000, you can now grab it for Rs400,000 on the company’s official website, saving yourself Rs35,000.

This discount applies to the variant with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM.

The price cut doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as Samsung seems desperate to boost S24 Ultra sales before making room for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is expected to launch around mid to late January 2025.

While we don’t have an exact launch date yet, it’s safe to say the new model is right around the corner.

Now, if you’re thinking about buying one, be aware that ordering from Samsung’s website might mean a bit of a wait for delivery.

Alternatively, you could head to local markets, but don’t be surprised if the prices are higher. Some markets in Rawalpindi and Lahore are reportedly still charging more for the same model.

So, if you’re planning to buy one from a local shop, keep in mind that they may not match the Rs400,000 price tag from the official site—they’ll likely add a little extra to the price. However, if you order online, you’ll get it for Rs400,000.

This price difference between official and local stores is largely due to a “black market” effect, where sellers withhold stock to push up prices for their own benefit. On top of that, recent sales tax changes have added to the confusion, giving local sellers more leeway to set their own prices on the imported models.

And it’s not just Samsung dealing with this; brands like Infinix and Xiaomi are also seeing higher local market prices compared to what’s listed on their official websites.

As for Samsung’s future plans, we’re expecting four new models in the Galaxy S25 lineup: the S25, S25+, and the S25 Ultra.

Rumored S25 design

These new devices are rumoured to come with a fresh design, upgraded processors, better displays, and some exciting new Galaxy AI features. There’s even talk of a slim version of the Galaxy S25 in the works.
