Caretaker PM Kakar meets US envoy Donald Blome

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar held a meeting with United States Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome, here on Friday.

A statement issued from the US Embassy said that during the meeting matters pertaining to ensuring transparent elections and fostering the trajectory of Pakistan-US relations came under discussion.

Ambassador Blome underscored his resolute commitment to continue cooperation in the future.

He also expressed his appreciation for the initiatives undertaken to safeguard the interests and well-being of minority communities within Pakistan.
