Cop killed, three others injured as female suicide bomber explodes in Turbat

TURBAT: A police man was killed and three others were injured after an alleged female suicide bomber blew herself up at Chakar Khan Chowk in Turbat on Saturday evening.

This is the first suicide bombing in Turbat carried by a female.

Kech Deputy Commissioner Bashir Ahmed confirmed that the attack was carried out by a female suicide bomber. They said that the police vehicle was completely damaged in the attack.

Condemning the terrorist attack, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo expressed his sorrow at the loss of life and extended condolences to the bereaved family.

In a statement, the chief minister said: “terrorists aim to halt the development process and intimidate security forces. The evil intentions of terrorists will never be successful.”
