PML-N digital deletes election poll after 81% voted for PTI

WEB DESK: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) digital team deleted a Twitter poll regarding the upcoming 2024 general elections on Tuesday. This action followed a 81 per cent majority vote in favour of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) by users on the platform.

A poll on ‘X’ initiated by the PML-N digital team inquired about users’ preferences for the 2024 general elections. The results revealed that 81 per cent of participants voted for PTI, while only 1 per cent favoured PML-N. Additionally, 2 per cent voted for PPP, and 1 per cent supported other political parties.

 

Screenshots of the deleted poll were extensively shared on social media, with people criticisng the party for removing the post.
