Shahid Afridi meets PCB chairman in Lahore

LAHORE:  Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi Shahid Afridi on Friday met with The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Zaka Ashraf at the PCB headquarters at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Zaka Ashraf praised Shahid Afridi’s cricketing services and said “Shahid Afridi, you are a hero and a superstar for Pakistan. It would be a pleasure to work with you.”

Rumors began swirling after Shahid Afridi met with Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar on Thursday, suggesting a potential position for Afridi within the PCB. Afridi hinted at the prospect of joining PCB, stating his intention to ensure coaching responsibilities are handled by seasoned cricketers.
