The Lebanese health authorities reported that several people were still unaccounted for, as a result of the Israeli attacks. The latest escalation of violence is yet another example of Israel’s brutality over the past few months, with the occupying forces turning its wrath from just Gaza and occupied-West Bank to now Lebanon.
Simultaneously, the occupying forces also bombarded the encircled Gaza Strip, which resulted in a high number of casualties. According to reports, the death toll in Gaza has now reached 41,689, with many of the deceased being civilians.
Israel has also killed over 15,000 Palestinian children since it invaded the enclave last October.
The occupying forces has bombed Gaza to a rubble, committing one war crime after another as Israel strikes schools and hospitals with impunity. Meanwhile, its long-time ally, the United States (US), claim that Israel has the right to ‘self-defense’.
