India killed over 100 terrorists in strikes on Pakistan, claims Modi

NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has claimed that India ‘eliminated more than 100 ruthless terrorists’ in its strikes on Pakistan during the Operation Sindoor.

He was addressing Indian nation on Monday evening after a weekend ceasefire with Pakistan following days of military conflict between the nuclear-armed neighbours.

Furnishing details of the Indian attacks on Pakistan, Modi surprisingly refused the use of any ‘imported’ weapons. World has seen how ‘made-in-India-weapons’ have hit the specific targets with utmost accuracy and force, he claimed.

Boasting about Indian success during the four-day conflict with Pakistan, Modi said India destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and vowed to keep targeting such havens in future.

How Pak-India ceasefire deal came about?

Pakistan’s military spokesperson had already rubbished Modi’s claims about hitting terrorists in Pakistan. He had briefed international media on Friday that how Indian strikes killed innocent people, including children and women.

It may be remembered that in its first series of strikes on Pakistan, India had targeted mosques in two cities of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Bahawalpur and Muridke cities of Pakistan.

During this attack, two young siblings, a college-going girl and a boy, were killed mercilessly in Kotli city of AJK.

Besides killings innocent lives through drones and strikes in Pakistan, India also killed at least 31 innocent civilians in unprovoked shelling at the Line of Control (LOC).

Moreover, after attacking Pakistan for its demand for a neutral probe into the Pahalagam incident and earning bad name for its country at the global stage, Modi also vowed to respond strongly to any future “terrorist attack”, while refusing to take any ‘nuclear pressure’.

Pakistan enters ceasefire with upper hand

“If another terrorist attack against India is carried out, a strong response will be given,” Modi said, adding New Delhi would not tolerate “nuclear blackmail” in the event of conflict.
