Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) organised activities such as the drone show in western Ahmedabad on Saturday (April 27) to boost voter turnout.

Illuminated drones lit up the night sky in various formations from slogans to an inked finger, encouraging voters to cast their ballot.

Meanwhile, the transgender community in central Bhopal city walked the ramp, sending across a message of inclusion and spreading voter awareness.

The Election Commission and political parties have been worried about voter turnout due to the summer heat and wedding season in some parts of the country with turnout falling to around 65 per cent in the first phase from nearly 70 per cent in 2019.
