He condemned the recent murder of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, which he noted has further heightened tensions. The National Assembly (NA) of Pakistan condemned Haniyeh’s killing, and Pakistan observed a mourning day on August 2.

Dar lambasted Israel’s actions in Gaza, describing them as atrocities against innocent civilians. He pointed out that over the past nine months, Israel has targeted Palestinian children and women, violated international law, and attacked schools, hospitals, aid convoys, and shelters.

Dar also mentioned that Israel has withheld essential goods and life-saving aid on humanitarian grounds.

The Deputy Prime Minister called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and noted that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) had ruled against Israel. He said the Muslim world has high expectations from the OIC.

The deputy PM also called for an urgent need for global peace and a ceasefire. He urged all parties to contribute in making Israel halt its atrocities and to ensure the delivery of aid to Gaza.
