Land Dispute: One killed in firing exchange between Mahmood Jan, locals

PESHAWAR: In a tragic incident on Tuesday, one individual lost his life as a result of renewed gunfire between members of the Isa Khel tribe and the family of former lawmaker Mahmood Jan.

The exchange of fire occurred in the Ragi area and involved Mahmood Jan, the former Speaker, and local residents. Multiple individuals were reported injured in addition to the fatality.

Local law enforcement authorities have confirmed that this dispute has been a long-standing issue between the Khans and the Isa Khel tribe. According to sources, rocket launchers were deployed by both parties during this violent altercation.

Multiple murder cases have been registered against the former speaker, Mahmood Jan.
