ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, has mandated the expedited completion of repair and maintenance work at Faisal Mosque.

The directive was issued during a site visit on Saturday, where Randhawa was accompanied by other CDA officials.

During the visit, Randhawa underscored the urgent need to enhance the mosque’s overall cleanliness and aesthetics. He instructed that all areas in need of paint be promptly addressed, broken tiles be repaired, and the surrounding areas be improved without delay.

“Faisal Mosque is a symbol of national significance, extending beyond Islamabad,” Randhawa stated. “Its renovation should be treated as a top priority to provide the best possible facilities for the worshippers.”

The chairman’s directives have already led to tangible improvements, with the mosque’s non-operational fountains being repaired and restored to functionality.
