“Love Guru” to hit cinemas on Eid-ul-Azha

KARACHI: The wait is finally over for fans of Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan, as their much-awaited romantic comedy ‘Love Guru’ is set to hit cinemas this Eid ul Azha.

The trailer for Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed’s new romantic comedy film “Love Guru” has been released, and the film is set to hit cinemas on Eid-ul-Azha.

This film marks the return of both superstars to the big screen after three years. Mahira’s last film was The Legend of Maula Jatt and Humayun’s last film was London Nahi Jaunga, both released in 2022.

Both actors will be seen together in a romantic pair after a decade, with their last romantic pairing in the film Bin Roye.

The trailer doesn’t fully reveal the plot, but it hints that Humayun plays a charming lover who initially flirts with several girls in London. Mahira portrays a bold and modern girl.

The story takes a turn when Javed Sheikh (Mahira’s father) assigns Humayun the task of stopping his daughter’s wedding. As Humayun works on the task, he finds himself falling in love with Mahira.

The script for the film has been written by Waseem Chaudhry, with Nadeem Baig directing it. Humayun Saeed, along with other producers, is also part of the film’s production.

The movie will also feature Punjabi and Pashtun humour, which is sure to leave the audience in fits of laughter.
