Indian missiles strikes targeting Sikhs in Amritsar: DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI: In his latest address to the nation, the Director General (DG) of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, condemned India’s recent missile strikes that targeted the Sikh community in the city of Amritsar, Indian Punjab.
The DG ISPR expressed deep sympathies for the Sikh community in India, declaring them as victims of Indian aggression. He stated that out of six missiles fired from Adampur, five landed in the “general area” of Amritsar; the sixth landed in Adampur itself.

He stated that the Sikh community in India was a victim of “internal conspiracy” and tryanny. The DG ISPR labelled this a “shocking development”.
Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif expressed his incredulity of a country targeting and dropping ballistic missiles “at its own population”, stating it “doesn’t make any sort of sense”.
The director general labelled such a barbaric act as “insanity” that didn’t make “any sort of sense”.
