LAHORE: Changes to the schedule for Bangladesh’s upcoming five-match T20I tour of Pakistan was revealed by sources on Tuesday.
The series, which was previously set to have its first match on May 25, will now begin on May 27. The second, third, and fourth match of the series is scheduled for May 30, June 1, and June 3. A new date has been added for the final match, June 5.
Sources claim that the Bangladesh Cricket Board has been taken into confidence regarding the changes in schedule. They added that the PCB will release the official schedule soon.
The change comes after the new schedule of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was announced earlier, whose final will now take place on May 25, the previous date for the first match of the Bangladesh series.
The matches are reportedly still being planned to take place in Faisalabad and Lahore. However, the schedule may be affected due to Pakistan-India tensions.
