Only three women managed to secure official party nominations. The Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) fielded Aamna Ansari, the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party gave a ticket to Jamila Khatoon, and the Pakistan Nazariati Party nominated Syeda Khalida.
