Connecting minds and transforming energy: ADIPEC 2024 kicks off in Abu Dhabi

ADIPEC 2024 has officially commenced in Abu Dhabi, emphasizing innovations in energy and artificial intelligence (AI) for sustainability. The world’s largest energy event opened its doors on November 4, 2024, at the ADNEC Centre, running until November 7. Operating under the theme “Connecting Minds. Transforming Energy,” and organized by ADNOC, this edition celebrates 40 years of industry leadership.

This year’s event has attracted over 184,000 participants from 164 countries, making it the largest ADIPEC gathering to date. The focus this year is on the convergence of energy and AI, bringing together global leaders, investors, and decision-makers to explore the essential role of energy in driving economic transformation and sustainable growth.

ADIPEC 2024 features more than 2,200 exhibitors, including 54 national and international oil companies, as well as 30 country pavilions, showcasing advancements in energy, AI, decarbonization, and digitalization.

Among the key attractions is the newly introduced AI Zone, “Energyai” by ADNOC, where companies such as Enercap, Accenture, AIQ, Microsoft, and Baker Hughes are presenting innovative AI solutions designed to address energy demands while minimizing emissions. This zone includes the Energyai Conference, Creative AI Lab, Reskilling Lab, interactive demonstrations, and designated networking areas for attendees to engage with cutting-edge AI technologies.

Throughout the event, more than 1,800 speakers, including 40 ministers and 200 C-suite executives, will take part in 370 sessions across ten conferences, with the flagship being the Strategic Conference.
