Gold price plummets for second consecutive day

KARACHI: The price of gold in Pakistan witnessed a decline of Rs600 per tola on Tuesday according to Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers’ Association (APSGJA).

After the decrease, the price of the gold metal per tola reached Rs221,100.

The price of 10 grams stands at Rs189,558 witnessing a decrease of Rs514.

Separately, The US dollar on Tuesday slightly appreciated against the Pakistani rupee showing an upward trend in its value.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the US currency gained 48 paisa against the local currency and closed at Rs287.91 in the interbank.
