Gold prices in Pakistan come down

gold prices increase

KARACHI:  While international gold prices have been on the rise, Pakistan’s gold market has witnessed a surprising decline in prices.

In a recent development, the price of gold in Pakistan has dropped by Rs 200, with the new price per tola now standing at Rs 206,300. Similarly, 10 grams of gold has become more affordable by Rs 171, totaling Rs 176,869.

This price decrease comes in the wake of a significant surge in gold prices yesterday, which saw an increase of Rs 6,400, setting the gold price per tola at Rs 206,500 in various cities across the country.

In contrast, the global gold market has shown a different trend, with the price of gold per ounce rising by $36 to $1,959 in the world market.

The divergent movements in gold prices between the international and Pakistani markets have captured the attention of investors and consumers alike. The cause behind this disparity and the future trajectory of gold prices remain subjects of interest for those involved in the precious metal trade.
