ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) took notice of the increase in prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) on Friday.

OGRA spokesperson Imran Ghauri told HUM News that the regulatory authority has directed oil marketing companies (OMCs) to ensure the sale of LPG at the notified rate and to implement effective measures to combat the illegal and inflated sale of the utility.

“OGRA has directed the provincial and divisional government to control the LPG price,” Ghauri said.

He further said that the authority has also directed the OMCs to ensure that distributors display the prices during the supply and sale process.
