PM Kakar calls for strong strategy to tackle energy sector’s debt

WEB DESK: In a meeting held on Wednesday, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar underscored the imperative need for an effective, long-lasting, and viable strategy to eliminate revolving credit within the energy sector.

The focal point of the gathering was a comprehensive review of the plan designed to curb the persistent issue of revolving credit in the energy sector.

The nation currently faces a significant challenge in the form of a substantial circular debt, prompting the government to undertake decisive measures to mitigate its impact.
