Aftab Sherpao loses, Anwar Taj secures victory

WEB DESK: In the latest electoral developments, Qaumi Watan Party Chairman Aftab Sherpao has experienced a setback, facing defeat in the 2024 election.

According to the preliminary results disclosed by the Election Commission, independent candidate Anwar Taj emerged victorious in NA-24 Charsadda 1, securing a total of 89,801 votes.

Gohar Ali of JUI-Pakistan secured the second position with 48,545 votes.
