Bilawal calls for furthering Pak-Russia ties

Islamabad:  Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has called for furthering Pak-Russia ties as the two two nations seek to embark on a journey to strengthen mutual relations and contribute to regional stability, prosperity and peace.

Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, he has showered his compliments on the Russian leadership on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Pak-Russia diplomatic alliance.

The foreign minister highlighted the significant progress made by both the nations since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1948.

Bilawal highlighted the evolving bilateral relations between Pakistan and Russia saying: “over the past decades, we have understood each other’s perspectives and priorities.”

He acknowledged the close cooperation between Pakistan and Russia on various fronts, including peace, security, and public affairs.

He highlighted the shared interests that have brought the nations together and expressed his determination to expand the bilateral between the two countries.
