FLORIDA: Former pro wrestler and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) alum Brandi Rhodes confirmed her retirement from the in-ring competition on Wednesday.
During an interview with Chris Van Vliet on the red carpet premiere of American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes, Brandi revealed that her days as a pro wrestler have come to an “anticlimactic” end.
Brandi, who was earlier known as ‘Eden Stiles’ in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), parted ways with the promotion in 2016 alongside her husband Cody Rhodes. The couple emerged as prominent figures in various wrestling promotions before helping launch AEW in 2019. However, Brandi left AEW in February 2022.
The media reports said that since Cody made a triumphant return to WWE at WrestleMania 38, Brandi has yet to make an appearance on WWE programming since her departure from AEW.
She spoke openly about her choice to leave the squared circle, citing the challenges of being a wrestler and a mother.

Meanwhile, Brandi Rhodes credited WWE Superstar Becky Lynch for managing a balance between motherhood and wrestling. She also said that she found it difficult and realized it might not be the best path for her family.
The 38-year-old wrestler’s final match took place on January 26, 2022, when she secured a victory over KiLynn King on AEW Dark. Brandi, prior to her involvement with AEW, had an impressive wrestling career. She has taken part in competing for various promotions such as Ring of Honor, Stardom, Impact, and several independent circuits.
Brandi has not wrestled since her time in AEW, despite being spotted practicing at the WWE Performance Center last year.

Meanwhile, Brandi Rhodes revealed in the interview about her future plans majorly including to open her own Yoga & Pilates Studio after becoming a certified Yoga teacher.
