According to reports, trouble began when someone threw a water balloon at the actor’s vintage car. In response, the incensed actor leaped out and swung at the alleged culprit.

Unlike his roles in movies, Danny Trejo couldn’t muster his inner Bruce Lee and missed, resulting in a fall.

Videos circulating online depict a brawl breaking out as others joined in. Frustrated, the octogenarian intervened by tossing his green chair at the fighters. Concerned bystanders restrained Trejo amid pleas to cease due to children nearby.

The scuffle lasted a brief 30 seconds. Law enforcement responded but made no arrests. Trejo later dismissed the water balloon incident as “childish” and criticised those involved as “cowards.” He emerged unscathed from the brawl.

The incident occurred shortly after Trejo announced the passing of his 16-year-old chihuahua, Dixie, on social media.

Danny Trejo debuted as an actor in 1985, and is known for his tough-guy roles. His film career took off with the release of “Runaway Train”. He also gained prominence in “Death Wish 4: The Crackdown” (1987).

Trejo’s roles often depict inmates, gangsters, and criminals in films like “Desperado,” “Heat” (1995), “From Dusk till Dawn” (1996), “Con Air” (1997), “Reindeer Games” (2000), and “Once Upon a Time in Mexico” (2003).

From 2001 to 2003, Trejo starred as Isador “Machete” Cortez in the Spy Kids franchise directed by Robert Rodriguez. His portrayal led to the spin-off film “Machete” (2010) and its sequel “Machete Kills” (2013).
