General election 2024: federal education ministry announces 4 holidays for Islamabad schools

ISLAMABAD: In response to the upcoming elections across the country, the Federal Ministry of Education has declared a four-day holiday for schools throughout the city, spanning from February 6th to February 9th.
All private and public schools in Islamabad will re-open on February 10, Saturday.
Federal Ministry on Thursday issued the notification regarding the election holidays in Islamabad schools.
Most schools in Islamabad observe Saturday as a holiday, meaning they will reopen in the capital on Monday, February 12th.
How many election holidays will there be in Pakistan?
Punjab and Sindh have already announced the closure of educational institutions in their respective provinces from February 6th to February 9th.

February 5 has been declared a public holiday in Pakistan for Kashmir Day. Consequently, most educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities, will remain closed for a week from February 5th to February 11th.
